We are pleased to inform that Professor Bronwyn Hall will be the main speaker.

 

Bronwyn Hall is Professor at the University of California, Berkeley (USA),  and at the University of Maastricht, a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research and Institute for Fiscal Studies and founder and partner of TSP International.

With a B.A. in physics (1966), from Wellesley College, twenty two year later she obtained a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University.

 

Professor Hall has published articles in several journals related to economics and econometrics and also is the editor of the Handbook of the Economics of Innovation. Furthermore, we should note the creation of software for econometric estimation and of firm-level datasets relevant for the innovation.

 

Currently, Bronwyn Hall is advisory editor of Research Policy, associate editor of Economics of Innovation and New Technology and Industrial and Corporate Change, member of Advisory Boards of the European Patents Office, the Deutsche Institut fuer Wirtschaftsforschung, the Innovation Research Centre and the Solvay Business School.
