Cabral (NIPE), Paulo Guimarães (NIMA) and Ana Cardoso (NIMA)), and by PEETI, with the participation of national and international experts.


	International Workshop on Regional Economic Indicator Models, University of Minho, June 8-11, 1998. The Workshop was jointly organized by the CEEG and the Division of Research of the University of South Carolina. It had the participation of circa 35 researchers and scholars from several U.S., European, and Latin American institutions, namely from the U.S. Federal Reserve Banks of Boston, Philadelphia, St. Louis, and Dallas, Harvard University, University of California at Riverside, University of South Carolina, Eurostat, European Central Bank, Universidade de Brasília, Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, National Institute for Economic and Social Research (UK), Instituto Nacional de Estatística, DE-Ministério do Trabalho e da Solidariedade, Departamento de Prospectiva e Planeamento, Comissão de Coordenação da Região Norte, Universidade de Coimbra, Universidade do Minho, etc. The Workshop was co-financed by the Fundação Ciência Tecnologia, National Science Foundation, Tinker Foundation Inc., Center for International Business and Education Research at USC, and the CEEG-UM.
